Our marathon course has been described as one of the most beautiful marathon courses you will ever run.

START: Go North on Grand from Big Tex Circle
Go through parking lot to Washington ave turning left
Merge right (NE) on Parry Ave.
Cross Carroll Ave, and continue NE on Lindsley Ave.
Cross Fitzhugh Ave.
Cross Munger Blvd.
160 Cross Cameron Ave.
162 Pass by Clermont Ave.
Go left (NW) on Tennison Memorial Rd, for one block.
Go right (N) on Santa Monica Dr. (our one hill at mile 3 on the course. The rest is flat!)
Cross RR, and continue N on West Shore Dr.
Cross Gaston Ave.
Go right (NE) on Whiterock Rd.
Go right (SE) on Winsted Dr.

The half marathon will go up the west side of White Rock Lake for a couple of miles and then turn around and return and connect with the Sante Fe Trail which runners will take back down to Fair Park. From there they go back into Fair Park from Parry and run on Washington.
Go right on Pennsylvania.
Go right on First St. to finish line

The marathon will circle White Rock on the west side and cross to the east side at the Mockingbird pedestrian bridge. We will run along the east side until we nearly reach Garland Road at which point we will turn around and trace back the same path returning to the Sante Fe Trail and finish as the half runners did.

They will be USATF certified and the marathon will be a Boston qualifier.

The half marathon course is one of the most scenic courses in America at half the distance!

course time limit & Rules

In accordance with the guidelines issued by USA Track & Field and Wheelchair Sports USA, only runners, and walkers will be allowed on the course. TheĀ time limitĀ for marathon participants is 7 hours.



We will have hydration stations every 1 1/2 to 2 miles along the course. All stations will provide water and GatorAde to runners.


We will have port-o-lets near every waterstation along the course plus at throughout the course


Bandaids and vaseline will be at waterstations towards the end of the course. The Dallas Fire Dept will have medics on bikes and golf carts along the course. There will be 6 ambulances on standby and a finish line medic team.




If your family and friends wish to cheer you on along the course, the best points will be on the west side of White rock Lake on West Lawther and also on Sante Fe parallel to the Sante Fe Trail. You will not be able to access any of the marathon course on the east side of the Lake.
