*The Big D Marathon runners completed a race of approximately 27.3 miles. At the start of the course, the lead vehicle driver made a human error, looked at a turn sign for the 5K and turned the wrong direction. Once the correction was made, approximately one mile had been added to the course. Please accept our apology for the increased distance in the event.
